The Uinta County Wind Farm will be completed by December 2003. The project is located in southwestern Wyoming, in Uinta County, approximately 10 miles from the town of Evanston. Wind turbines will be located on land owned by local ranchers and the State of Wyoming. Roads and power lines will also be located on federal land managed by the Bureau of Land Management. The project will be connected to the transmission lines of PacifiCorp.
