| The Green Mountain Wind Farm is located near Garrett,
in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Orion Energy LLC and development
partner National Wind Power completed this 10.4 Megawatt project in
2000. The project consists of 8 Nordex N60 wind turbines and is connected
to the electrical transmission lines of Somerset Rural Electric Cooperative.
Electricity produced by the project is purchased by Green Mountain
Energy Company. The project is located on land owned by the Decker
family, and a portion of this land is reclaimed strip mine. |

These wind turbines, producing electricity
for customers of Green Mountain Energy, are built at the site of a former
strip mine.
Wind turbines form a backdrop for the
Decker farm. The Deckers own the land on which the Green Mountain Wind
Farm is built.
